Trainload can undertake other design engineering projects, using our skilled team of engineers, and have been awarded contracts, including reverse engineering and building a new drum winch that was designed in the 1950's to a complete Waste Heat control system for an offshore platform in Russia.

Drum winch systems have mainly been used in the mining industry, but are also used in ports for pulling out sea going vessels on slipways for repairs and inspection. We can still design and manufacture drum winch systems to suit your requirements.
