The Buffer Wagon winching system Is an endless wire rope system, with the buffer wagon running on the main rails. The Buffer Wagon coupler can be designed to couple to the rail wagon coupler either manually or automatically. This system Is used where there Is a buffer stop at one end of the track, and can also be used where there are turnouts/crossings. An optional lateral system can be supplied, where the Buffer Wagon can allow through traffic. Other track layouts can be accommodated using this system.
